We're so happy you're here!

CookieYumm wasn't created in a boardroom, a bakery, or a commercial kitchen. It started in the heart of our home, in a little kitchen in Brookston, Indiana, where our family gathered and recipes came to life.

In February 2025, I brought home my very first mixer with no business plan, no bakery experience, and no idea that a simple hobby would grow into something so special. What followed were months of late nights, flour-covered countertops, recipe failures, happy accidents, and more cookies than my family could possibly eat.

Every new recipe was tested, tweaked, and tested again. Some were amazing. Some were... memorable for all the wrong reasons.

But through it all, one thing remained constant: family.

My sister Michelle quickly became my biggest supporter and the unofficial voice of reason behind CookieYumm. When I doubted myself, she didn't.

She simply said:

"Daniel, people need these cookies."

That one sentence changed everything.

But the real magic of CookieYumm comes from our youngest team members.

Meet Noah, Angie, Izzy, Lily, Abby, and Baby Santi—the heart of CookieYumm.

They're our official taste-testers, frosting critics, sprinkle specialists, flavor inventors, and quality control department. They celebrate the wins, laugh through the failures, and somehow always know exactly which cookie should make the menu.

In fact, CookieYumm wouldn't even have its name without Angie.

One day while talking about cookies, she blurted out, "CookieYumm!"

The name stuck immediately.

And just like that, our little family baking adventure finally had a name.

Today, our kitchen in Brookston is still exactly what it was in the beginning: a place where family gathers, ideas come to life, and cookies are made with a whole lot of love. Some days you'll find us covered in flour. Other days we're debating frosting flavors or convincing the kids that eating six cookies for "quality control" probably isn't necessary.

No matter what we're baking, every cookie starts the same way—with real ingredients, genuine care, and the belief that food has a special way of bringing people together.

Because to us, cookies aren't just dessert.

They're birthday celebrations.

They're late-night cravings.

They're thank-you gifts.

They're "thinking of you" moments.

They're memories shared around kitchen tables with the people you love most.
